Travel with taxi kota kinabalu sabah malaysia

Visited Tanjung Aru Beach ,on our way back to the airport.
Tanjung Aru is a sub-district of Kota Kinabalu in Sabah. It also has its own township called Pekan Tanjung Aru. Other notable feature here is the Royal Sabah Turf Club, La Salle Secondary School, Terminal 2 of Kota Kinabalu International Airport, and the Tanjung Aru railway station for Sabah State Railway.
Sabah Air Helicopter Aerial Tour also stationed nearby. This place is also home for the Shangri-La Resort.
The main attraction here is the beach, which stretches to over 2 kilometres long.Sulug ,Manukan and Mamutik island could be seen from this beach.Stunning view on sunset, so so view on daytime. Not the best beach ,compared to other beaches in KK area , especially on the islands.
Not nice to swim, because the water is a bit unclear, and not too clean.
Observed some Wind Surfers at a distance ,and some kids just playing on the sand, many holes of Sand bubbler crabs (Scopimera) on the beach.
We managed to try the sea side food court , sells sea food , satays , grilled chicken wings, roasted peanuts and corn. But frankly speaking we liked foods in other places in KK ,in terms of quality and price.
